In reply to <a href="https://summeradams.com/diy-wooden-box-centerpiece/#comment-13986">Angi</a>.

Hi Angi! So glad you like it! I don’t have a 3 quart mason jar so I couldn’t tell you but I would measure the bottom of it and then I would measure the width of the bottom wood piece lying flat (as the bottom of the box) and subtract the width of the side panels standing up on their sides. Does that make sense? Then you will know! Xo

I need something like this for centerpieces for my daughter's wedding but I specifically need it to hold 3 quart sized mason jars. It looks about the right size but I can't tell from the pics. Do you know if they will fit? I want to get the lumber cut at Lowe's but I need to give them the measurements to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Brianne! Yes, it gives you the extra space you need because the blade will naturally take off 1/8". So glad you love it! Good luck and have fun! LMK how it turns out! :-)

Hi Summer. I love this planter box and am hoping to make my own soon. It is beautiful! Just wondering why you added the extra 1/8" on the end pieces? Did you find it lined up better that way? Thanks!
