Hi Marlen! I’m so glad you enjoyed this post! Oh no, i’m sorry to hear you had that problem. No, I have not had any and problems with the IKEA table. I have been so pleased with it and it has held up very well. I have 2 kids who put stuff on it all the time and it looks exactly like it did the day I finished it. And I’ve sprayed and wipes the metal at the same time I’ve cleaned the glass and it looks perfect! I highly recommend the IKEA one if you want to switch and try it again. I sprayed painted a similar table from Target, however, the paint simply peels off with a simple glide of my nail (can’t imagine people sliding something off of it)
I lightly sanded and even primed my coffee table (twice) prior to spraying it gold, but still same problem. 🙁
So you have this problem?

Yes, if you scroll to the bottom of the post where it says “Shop The Post” and has all those pictures, click on the right arrow button and scroll until you see the picture of the rug and you can click on it and it will take you to the source.
