I’m delighted to join a group of friends today, hosted by our friend Krista from The Happy Housie, to share fall decor!  It’s my first tour of the season and I’ll be sharing my elegant fall mantel and living room in gray and gold with you today!

Elegant Fall Living Room In Gray & Gold

Last year, I did a blush pink glam fall mantel. This year, of course, I wanted to keep the glam but go with a different color scheme.  I went to HotSkwash in Tigard, Oregon (not too far from me) and met with my friend and founder, Daria and looked over her gorgeous fabrics to create a special custom pumpkin that would give me the inspiration for the color palette of this year’s living room.  

When we came across this gorgeous fine jeweled lace and she thought to put it over the gray, I knew it would be perfect and I wanted to do gray and gold.  I hadn’t done just gray and gold since we moved in our home a couple years ago.

Daria also made some special champagne-colored pumpkins and we put them with a mixture of the ivory and gray pumpkins with rhinestones as well.  She also created some smaller gray pumpkins with coordinating smaller flowers from the lace we used.  Aren’t they precious?!

I layered all the pumpkins on an extra piece of faux fur that I placed on my coffee table for added texture.  It also kept there from being too much gray on gray from pumpkin to table and brings a cozier vibe.

I kept our large gold tray on the table and added lots of gold/brass.  I added one of my favorite candles with a tall cloche and a small little pumpkin.

This pretty metal flower (I just painted) was vintage and I recently found it at a local antique store.  I found this new gold box a couple of weeks ago for our remotes and also bought new agate coasters that all coordinate beautifully and also add extra “glam”.

Elegant Fall Mantel In Gray & Gold

Daria made special boucle pumpkins with these gorgeous chiffon flowers this year and I’m absolutely in love with them.  

They look beautiful, adorning my mantel along with these other beautiful pumpkins and elegant mercury glass candlesticks.

The darling “blessed” sign was a fabulous find from HomeGoods last month.

After placing everything on my mantel, I grabbed these golden faux eucalyptus that I have in my entry (and that you’ll see on my fall table), and placed them on the ends to add another pop of gold and I really love it even more!

I definitely love the dimension it adds.  I wanted to do the same thing on my coffee table but worried about the gray against gray and the stems were too much with this group so the fur really was the best look. Sometimes you just keep playing with something until you get it where you want it!

Pillows can sometimes be the hardest thing for me to find.  Not the inserts (because I have faux down inserts here that are so comfy and very affordable) but finding beautiful covers that I really love and well-priced can be a hard combo.  I recently stumbled upon an Etsy store called DuruHome that’s based out of Turkey and ships internationally.

Their fabrics are gorgeous and they had covers I loved and ordered (this silver patterned cover 2nd pillow and this gray damask cover 4th pillow) and arrived within a week here to the U.S. and the quality was beautiful. The prices were also great, so I was thrilled about that.  You’ll have to check them out.  This is the second time I’ve ordered from a Turkish store through Etsy and it’s gone really well.

I layered them on my sofa with this beaded pillow and a white velvet textured pillow that I already had and added gray faux fur throws. So much coziness right?!  Our sofas are so comfortable right now!

I changed up my bar cart as well and switched it to the other side of the room, adding vases and glasses and some pumpkins for that perfect chic bar cart look.

On the opposite side of the room, I finally hung my cool floral wall hanging from the antique store that I just found and repainted (many of you probably saw the transformation on Instagram stories and that was fun).  It was a dull, dark gold and silver and I brightened it with a more vibrant gold and used white for the flowers with touches of silver glaze.
