I’m so glad you’re here today! I’m joining a group of seriously talented bloggers in sharing our fall tables with you. I love creating tablescapes for my family and friends, especially during the holidays, and enjoying it with really delicious food. But I especially love the excuse to set a table for some girlfriends, like this brunch tablescape for Fall, and invite them over to eat good and visit!

A simple and feminine place setting
Before I ran out to buy anything, I decided to look through my dishes and linens and try to use what I had. Sometimes I find inspiration for a tablescape in a flower arrangement or new napkins but sometimes it comes in just looking through what I already have.
When I think of girlfriends, I think pink and floral. So I wanted to make a pumpkin floral centerpiece and then decided to put it with white and pink linens. They had to be ruffled, of course, because those are so feminine and beautiful.
Earlier this year, I scored some beautiful vintage gold-rimmed milk glass dinnerware off of Facebook Marketplace. I mixed those in with my white beaded salad plates.
I used my gold flatware (a.k.a. “goldieware” as I call it) and gold-rimmed wine glasses.
Then I thought the teacups would be a cute way to display and give them a small rose to take. After all, what girl doesn’t love flowers, right?! The teacups can be used for tea, with or after their brunch, or just act as a vessel for their rose.
DIY Pumpkin Floral Centerpiece
I found a bunch of faux pumpkins in my fall storage bins that I’ve had but wasn’t using this fall so I grabbed a medium-sized one and cut the center out with a sharp kitchen knife, since it’s made of foam.
I grabbed one of my shorter glasses from the cupboard and placed it in the center of the pumpkin to act as a small vase. I buy fresh flowers every week when I get the groceries and always grab a bunch of eucalyptus stems in the fall. I grabbed some white and pink roses and the eucalyptus stems to make a simple but lovely arrangement. The entire thing took about 10 minutes.
I added it to a pretty pink cake stand to give it height and just love how it looked.
My grandma passed away this year and we were close. I inherited a lot of beautiful things that mean a lot to me and these vintage crystal salt and pepper shakers are one of them. They are always pretty on all of my tables. And then there’s a piece of Grandma here too. She’d love this table.
So that’s it! Easy peasy! The only difficult thing about this tablescape was deciding which of my favorite foods to select for the menu. Croissants and muffins are a given though. Who doesn’t love those?!
