Hey everyone! Boy, do I have a fun Christmas decor idea for you!
If you follow me on Periscope, you were probably with me last night online (or maybe you watched my replay) while I made this easy and fun pair of Ice Skates. Can you believe I found them on Craigs List for only $10? After adding some fake sparkly snow, sprays, and sparkly ribbon it turned out so cute and I just love they way they look hanging on my hall tree. If you missed my Periscope (@sheleavesasparkle) you can watch below or follow me on Katch (http://katch.me/shesparkles78). I’ll show you exactly what I used!

Go find some used ice skates and make your own! You can add all sorts of embellishments and ribbons to match your holiday decor Happy crafting!

I was wondering if there’s another way to watch your video of the glitter ice skates? When I went to the periscope website to try to watch it it said periscope was closing. When I went to Katch both by clicking the link and by manually entering the web address an error message appears. I know you made this in 2016, but
I would love to watch your video of the Christmas ice skates as I am going to make one similar to yours.
Thanks,
JoAnna

Hi JoAnna! Oh I know…I hate that periscope is done. I wish I could get that video but I no longer have it. I remember that I used glue and brushed it on with white chunky glitter to look like snow and then even layered it when it dried. On the blades and maybe bottom part of the shoe or tops? I need to look at the pic again. I stuffed the tops of the shoes with Christmas sprays.
