Styling A Coffee Table

Hello!  We are so glad you could join us today for our “Styling A Coffee Table” Blog Hop, hosted by Janine from Happy Happy Nester. Thirteen home decor/lifestyle blogs are getting together once a month to share how our coffee tables are styled.  There’s no better way to make a change in your home than styling a coffee table differently. You can shop your own home and move things around and create an entirely new look. If you struggle with putting together or styling your coffee table, you’re in the right place today!

If you came from Oscar Bravo Home, I just know you loved Oscar’s coffee table.  He always has a brilliant and creative way of styling any space.  If you’re a regular reader returning, it means so much to me that you are here again!

Come with me into my family room! Here is what my coffee table looked like last week.

It was so fun to welcome Fall with a small piece of faux fur to give it a cozy look. I added the Pearl Pierced Temple Jar, faux birch candleholder and white candle, and then my favorite Volcano candle from Anthropologie to complete this cozy look.  I recently included this table in one of my fall home tours HERE, so make sure to visit for more fall decor inspiration.

Styling A coffee table

It’s looked like this for a whole 3 weeks {gasp}!  I love changing things around so it is definitely time.

I just pulled all of my home decor pieces down and I’m decorating for Halloween.  I have a huge pile of pieces from candlesticks and jars to trays and flowers.  I don’t use orange at Halloween, and I keep it pretty neutral.  I’m going “all out” in my dining room and living room (stay tuned) so I wanted to keep it pretty simple and light, styling a coffee table in our family room here.

Can you tell that I switched vintage chairs in the background?  Another way to freshen up the room.

I grabbed a handful of my mercury glass candleholders of different heights and placed them in the center.  I bought a TON of small white pumpkins last month and most of them are still good, so I grabbed a handful of those too.

Spanish moss is one of my favorite things, as a neutral lover, this time of year.  It’s messy, but it looks so elegant with the pumpkins perched on top of those candlesticks.

It’s just that easy!  AND it’s very inexpensive.  I actually spent nothing since I had everything already, and I always love it when I can use what I have to re-create a space.

Look who wanted to get in on the decorating fun! (Note sarcasm.)  Let me rephrase that…

Look who wanted to sit on top of my sofa, in the sun, and snore away the afternoon!  I hated waking my little Yorkie, Giorgio, up from his nap but I had to get one last picture.

Just a simple and elegant fall coffee table.  Styling a coffee table doesn’t have to be as difficult as we can make it some times.

You know what though?  Since I am decorating for Halloween, I think it wouldn’t hurt to add just one little black crow on top of one of these pumpkins…what do you think?

I loved having you here today and THANK YOU again for stopping by!  I hope you’ll return!  To re-create the looks above or to just choose particular pieces, here are the shopping links below for your convenience.

Obrigada sweets!! I ran to six different stores here in my area yesterday and every black crow is sold out LOL! I was so mad ha ha. I’m ordering them online right now because I need about a dozen more and I think one on top of one of those white pumpkins would look great there, you are so right! Loved your table… So glad you stopped by! ‘jinhos 💋💋

Your living room is so beautiful and I love your coffee table decor. I totally love Spanish moss too, it has an earthy but neutral loveliness to it. Your collection of candlesticks is gorgeous! Everything sparkles perfectly. And your cute pup is adorable!
