Summer is my favorite time of the year!  Not because of the name (wink wink) but because I love summer activities!  I love the outdoor parties and barbecues, swimming and beach days, sleeping in and staying up late, and most definitely the accessories!  I’ve given a lot of thought to this since our Newport Beach trip and then our Hawaii trip after.  I feel like an expert in this so I’m sharing all of my favorite summer accessories and essentials with you today.  And lucky you!  I’m giving you all the direct shopping links so grab a drink and snuggle up with your computer for some FUN online shopping! {{squeal!}}

Ok, first things first….Everyone needs a fabulous watch!  It’s one of the first things I notice when I look at a women’s accessories.  I want to share with you my new FAVORITE watch that I’ve been wearing for 2 months. I’m in LOVE!  Daniel Wellington has designed a fabulous line of watches for women and men.  I’m so glad they reached out to me because I have been wanting a watch like the ones they carry.  When I saw their line, I liked it so much more than the ones I’d been eyeing.  Their price point is also better than the others I had in mind.  I chose the Classy St Mawes 34mm in Rose Gold and I adore those little rhinestones on the face.

Some years I am NOT in shape and I absolutely dread getting in a swimsuit. And other years I’m feeling pretty good about my health/fitness routine and don’t mind it at all. But whether we love or loathe how we look in those swimsuits, these darling pieces are too cute to resist!  My absolute favorite is this one HERE!  The Asos Leaf Print Swimsuit went in my shopping cart in about one second after finding it online.  I love how my {baby} sister chose the 2-piece version HERE and even mixed it with one of her hot pink swim tops.  We are 10 years apart but love a lot of the same things.  So fun that we could be “twinning” but not identical.  Did I mention they also make a matching sundress?  I die!

Eye protection is vital on a hot, sunny day!  These heart-shaped sunglasses have been a hit in my online shoppe for 2 summers in a row now.  Wait till you see the price!  Every time I wear them, women ask where I get them.  Such a fun summer accessory, right?!

How fabulous is this Neon Statement Necklace?!  It’s from my online shoppe and I love the way it looks against my tan skin.  My friend and customer, Kim, sent me a picture of her wearing it one day and said, “Oh my gosh!  I love this necklace so so much!” She’s darling!

As we get older, we care more and more about protecting our face from the sun. I love these adorable sunhats and have them all! A different hat for a different suit.

Don’t head off to the beach without a beach bag, insulated cooler and my new favorite thing ever….my Yeti 30oz Rambler! My ice keeps cold all day and I just keep adding water for an ice cold drink.

Another essential…a cute swim cover-up! Some of these I have {and love!} like the maxi and the rest are just adorable! I’ve got you “covered” with this selection…ha!

Every day in Hawaii, I would shower and then use this Strivectin UV Protective Spray and run out the door. Not only did it protect my hair from the sun, but it have my hair that perfect beachy hair look and texture. I’ll never go a summer without it, after discovering it, and their fabulous new line of shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair. I’m so glad they came out with hair products as good as their skincare! I highly recommend getting them all!

This might be a good time to tell you about the deodorant I fell in-love with years ago. I know what you’re thinking…but this deodorant is just as good as perfume. I kid you NOT! When people walk by me at the gym, they will ask me what I’m wearing and yes…it is this Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant!  Warning...you will be wanting to smell your own armpits, it's THAT good LOL! I even know of a love story that came from a guy liking the way this girl smelled and asked her what it was (this deodorant) and anyway...they're now married. Time to change out your phone case!  How cute are these?!!! And I’ve linked a portable phone charger as well. There may not be an outlet where you are at.

There are some essentials at the beach and pool you just need. A cute beach towel, a blanket, speakers for music, a wagon if you have to hike in from your car, and an umbrella is always a good idea when you need a little break from the scorching sun! Look at this pink striped umbrella!!! I just ordered it for our beachhouse trip coming up.

Is it your turn to throw a pool party? Don’t forget to buy some fun pool floats and don’t forget some adorable poolside items to entertain with!

I don’t wear a full face of makeup every day during the summer and I don’t always wear makeup when I go to the beach or pool. But if I’m talking essentials or if there are a few things I must wear at a pool party, it would be my Shiseido UV Foundation, IT Makeup Concealer, NYX Micro Brow Pencil with Waterproof Gel (amaaaazing!) so that I have eyebrows, and my all-time favorite Illegal Lengths Waterproof Mascara. You could do some or all of these. I always like a pink cheek by using MAC “Whole Lotta Love” blush and my new favorite summer lipstick….”Chatterbox” by MAC.
