Presenting….Miss Scarecrow!  Ok, this has been one of my favorite costumes because it was inexpensive, I had almost everything already for it, and I thought it was pretty cute.  I borrowed the plaid shirt from my friend, the floppy hat from our pool box at my mom’s house, put on some slip-on canvas shoes and boyfriend jeans and stuffed some hay from a neighbor’s porch in my shirt pocked haha (not pictured since I did that after taking the pic).  Grab some eyeliner and just follow what I’ve done if you want to copy the look.  And then go to a drugstore and get one of those fabulous color-stay lip pencils.  I used it on my lips and cheeks.  Voila!  Easy peasy.

The kids insisted on being a Masquerade Girl and a Ninja Turtle.  Ya know, my mom made all 6 of us Halloween costumes every year.  NO ONE ever had our same costume.  She was amazing!  I’m just not that talented so we buy ours.  Target and Halloween stores are always great but don’t forget to save money and buy them in August on eBay!  Especially when you’re only wearing them once.  Then, sell it to someone else the next year.  Or…you can keep them in a tub like my grandma did and we had fun dress up clothes or you can always share and trade with friends and save money! (I like that idea best!)  Happy Halloween, y’all!!  Be safe!
